Due to the pending winter storm, the City has declared a snow emergency removal alert beginning at 4 p.m. North Sioux City is declaring a snow emergency effective 4 p.m. today, February 23, until the snow quits. Residents need to remove all vehicles from North Sioux City streets to allow the effective removal of snow. Parking a vehicle where otherwise prohibited or restricted, by signs or otherwise, including snow emergency route signs, is prohibited.
City Hall Hours

City Hall will be open at noon today, weather permitting. Nevertheless, City Hall will open Friday between 4 and 5 p.m. to receive petitions.

Senior Center Closed

The NSC Senior Center will be closed tomorrow due to the weather. There will also be no served or delivered meals.
Snow Removal Reminder:
1) snow shall not be deposited on any sidewalk or in parks
2) in a location which would interfere/obstruct the passage or vision of traffic flow or intersections
3) blown, pushed, or placed snow on any street at any time
